The place is known for diving and snorkelling. Picnic on the beach and grilled fish lunch.

Muttrah Souk : Located on the seafront, the picturesque Muttrah Souk unfolds its labyrinth of narrow alleys in the heart of the old city and has been the daily life of the Omani people for over two centuries. The multicoloured stalls are full of handicrafts, spices and incense... not forgetting the halwa, a delicious local sweet that the Omanis love.
